Christina Applegate breaks silence with 'strong' message amid hospitalization
'The Sweetest Thing' actress announced her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in 2021
Christina Applegate broke her silence after hospitalization reports amid her multiple sclerosis battle.
Days after TMZ reported that the Dead to Me alum was admitted to a medical center in Los Angeles in March, the actress took to her social media to share a positive update on her health.
"Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes," she wrote, along with a picture of her recently released memoir and a cup with 'Kissy Kissy' written over it.
She went on to share, "Health issues are a constant for me, but I'm a strong chick and I'm getting stronger and better every day."
"I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough, Applegate added.
However, the Emmy winner did not reveal any details on why she was admitted to hospital.
Her spokesperson earlier said in a statement, “I have no comment whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast."
Applegate, who has been vocal about her battle with multiple sclerosis (MS), made the diagnosis public in August 2021.
