Zayn Malik accused of punching Louis Tomlinson in face during vicious fight
Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson had a heated argument while filming a three-part Netflix documentary series
Zayn Malik has allegedly punched his fellow singer Louis Tomlinson in the face during a vicious fight on the set of a Netflix docuseries.
As per The Sun, the fight was allegedly sparked after the Sideways crooner made negative comments about Louis's mother, Johanna Deakin, who breathed her last in 2016. This exchange escalated tensions between the two singers.
“It spiralled into a row then Zayn made a remark about Louis’ mum Johannah,” the insider told the outlet.
The confidant further said, “Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings it cut Louis’ head.”
“He was pulled away and Louis was taken for medical treatment. He was left with a concussion. This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking," continued a tipster.
According to the source, Zayn and Louis's tense altercation led to the cancellation of their Netflix docuseries.
The shocking news comes just as Zayn announced he was hospitalized with a mystery illness on Friday.
“To my fans – Thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always- been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering,” the 33-year-old singer penned on his Instagram Stories.
“Heartbroken that I can’t see you all this week, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding," Zayn added while sharing a snap of himself laying in a hospital bed.
