Prince William to ‘open doors’ for Middletons, make them Royals
Prince William could introduce new members into the Royal Family
Prince William is expected to offer Royal status to Kate Middleton’s parents.
The Prince of Wales, who seems to have a great liking for Carole and Michael Middleton, would invite them to join the monarchy:
The Daily Mail's Sarah Vine said: “In the 21st century, royalty is about how you behave. It’s not a given. And if the royal family is anything in this day and age, it’s to set an example. It’s to uphold certain standards and Andrew broke those rules and so he’s no longer there.”
“But it means that a door is open to other people becoming royal through their behaviour,” she adds noting that the couple qualifies for a Royal status due to their 'stability, decency, British values, and sense of humour'
However, by doing this William will 'completely rewrite the entire fabric of the monarchy', said Newsweek's chief royal correspondent, Jack Royston.
“But the guy does say he wants change. Anything is possible,” he added.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been planning key strategies for a strong institution behind closed doors, especially after the shame Andrew scandal brought to the Palace.
Upon taking over the throne, William aims to bring bold changes to how he wants to continue with the Duchy of Cornwall title and organisation.
The source shared, "Both the Prince and Princess of Wales are in favour of a more corporate-like structure for the institution."
William and Catherine are making plans for their public and charitable works as well, which will be different from those of other members of the firm.
