Princess Anne speaks out on Andrew’s treatment in shocking twist
Princess Anne’s shocking take on former Prince Andrew’s scandal comes to light
Princess Anne’s shocking take on Andrew issue comes as the former Duke of York leaves the Royal Lodge due to his past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
According to a latest report, the former Prince is said to be unhappy about downsizing from 30 rooms to Marsh Farm which only has five bedrooms and losing access to full-time staff.
Feeling sympathy for her brother, Anne is said to be upset with King Charles and Prince William as she is of the opinion that the monarch has been harsh with Andrew.
They said she thinks her brother has already “paid a huge price” for his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and shouldn’t be treated so harshly.
“Anne has been vocal with both the King and William about Andrew's treatment. There are several arguments going on between Andrew and the King and between the King and the wider family – some of whom are convinced the King has treated his brother too harshly,” the insider told Closer Magazine.
They added, “Anne feels this whole thing has gone way beyond what’s fair. She believes their late mother would have wanted this handled with far more discretion and dignity, especially given Andrew’s years of service and the extensive charitable work he and Sarah did before everything fell apart.
“In her view, Andrew has already paid a huge price and she doesn’t feel it’s right to keep kicking a man when he’s down.”
