Piers Morgan sends strong message to Donald Trump after Prince Harry's remarks

Outspoken journalist Piers Morgan has sent a strong message to US President Donald Trump over his NATO statement.
Piers Morgan message comes after in an interview with the Fox News, Trump said NATO troops "stayed a little off the front lines" during the conflict and insisted the US had "never needed" its allies, despite invoking the alliance's collective defence clause after 9/11.
Following Trump remarks, Prince Harry, who undertook two frontline tours to Afghanistan with the Army Air Corps, said "I served there. I made lifelong friends there. And I lost friends there."
"Thousands of lives were changed forever. Mothers and fathers buried sons and daughters. Children were left without a parent. Families are left carrying the cost. Those sacrifices deserve to be spoken about truthfully and with respect."
Apparently supporting Harry, Piers Morgan shared a photo of injured military personnel, and said “Says it all. President Trump needs to apologise - to Ben and all NATO personnel who served alongside US forces in Afghanistan, especially those killed and wounded.”
Commenting on the post, one fan said, “Trump is just hurting your little feelings every day now, isn't he? Piers, you lost 1/4 of what the Americans lost.”
Earlier, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Friday also denounced as "insulting" Trump´s claim that troops from NATO allies avoided the front line in Afghanistan, as anger grows at the US president´s remarks.
