Elvis Presley & Lisa Marie Presley's deaths show connection?

Elvis Presley, 42, and his daughter Lisa Marie Presley, 54, passed away at not-so-older ages. Sally A. Hoedel, who pens Elvis: Destined to Die Young, previously stated there is a pattern of early deaths in the pop icon’s family.

The pop icon's mom died at 46, while three of the legendary performer’s uncles passed away at a young age from different health complications.

Studying what she called a pattern, Sally, per her findings, found that there were inherited birth-related conditions in his family.

"By the time Elvis died in 1977, he had a disease or disorder in nine of the 11 systems of the body. At least five of those were present prior to fame and have likely been there since birth. This is even more relevant now that the autopsy of Lisa Marie Presley revealed a great deal of disease," she previously told the Express.

Moreover, Sally said the autopsy of Marie stated, "As details emerge from Lisa Marie Presley's autopsy report, the cause of death is confirmed as small bowel obstruction. This raises further questions about her long-term health condition. The obstruction was caused by scar tissue from a gastric bypass surgery performed years ago."

The author claimed that this bowel disorder was also shared by Elvis. "Elvis Presley also suffered from a lifelong bowel disorder and chronic constipation. While some of the medication he took could have further slowed his digestive system, it wasn't the initial cause of the problem."

Sally also noted that both father and daughter had had this problem since childhood. "There's evidence of it being an issue for Elvis as a toddler and teenager, well before fame and prescription medication came into play. Similarly, Lisa Marie's own testimony confirms that she had known about it since her childhood."

In light of her findings, the writer said, "I hope this family health history is ultimately pieced together, not only to bring peace for Lisa Marie and her family but for the obvious correlation to the young death of her famous father."

It is worth noting that Lisa died from cardiac arrest in 2023 and her father, Elvis, from a heart attack in 1977.
