Stephan Graham to star in 'Heat 2'?
Reports say Stephan Graham may play a key role in the much-anticipated 'Heat 2'
Heat 2, the hotly anticipated sequel to the 1995 crime drama, may star Stephan Graham, best known for Adolescence, as a younger version of Neil McCauley, played by Robert De Niro in the original film.
According to Nexus Point News, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale have also eyed to appear in the forthcoming movie, which Amazon MGM is developing.
Michael Mann, who directed the first film, previously read the script for the second installment, which will be a prequel and sequel to the original movie. In addition, Jerry Bruckheimer, Scott Stuber, and Nick Nesbitt will produce with Michael.
Over time, Heat has gained a reputation as a cult classic, with a cast that includes several A-list stars: Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore, Diane Venora, Amy Brenneman, Ashley Judd, Natalie Portman, and Mykelti Williamson.
"A group of professional bank robbers start to feel the heat from police when they unknowingly leave a clue at their latest heist, while both sides attempt to find balance between their personal and professional lives," its logline read.
Heat is streaming on Netflix.
