Tish Cyrus on 'really hard' aspect of Christmas with blended family
Tish Cyrus also shared plans for Christmas and which of her kids will be celebrating with her
Tish Cyrus is sharing how Christmas goes now that she has a blended family with husband Dominic Purcell.
Tish has five kids and Dominic has four, but it’s hard to get their grown up kids together for Christmas as they have flown the nest.
During the latest episode of the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, Tish gushed over the blended family, saying "The more the merrier — I just love everyone being together."
"I absolutely love Christmas and love the holidays," she added. "But it keeps looking different every year. It gets a little harder, I think, when the kids are older and everybody’s got different families that they have to be with for the holidays."
"It was so much fun when the kids were little. Five kids and they're all super young and it was just such a magical time," she recalled. "My mom was always with us, and it was just so great."
The matriarch revealed that she doesn’t know if Brandi, Trace and Braison will be in town but Miley and Noah will celebrate Christmas with her and Dominic.
"[It] is always really, really tough for me," Tish said. "I really miss just everybody being together at once. But again, they have significant others now, and it’s kind of like this juggle."
She continued, "But definitely we all get together, whoever’s in town, and we cook together and have Christmas dinner and open presents, just like everyone else."
Tish shares kids Miley, Noah, and Braison with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus, who also adopted her kids Brandi and Trace.
