Erika Jayne shares details why her divorce from Tom Girard is still not finalized

Erika Jayne has finally revealed why her divorce from estranged husband Tom Girard has not yet been finalized.

The 54-year-old reality TV star opened up about divorce from the disgraced lawyer on Thursday while appearing on Watch What Happens Live.

When host Andy Cohen asked Erika, "Why haven’t you filed for divorce?" she replied, "Oh, I have! You guys have got it so wrong."

"Yes, of course I have. I filed for separation," added the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum.

For those unversed, Erika filed for divorce from Tom in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage. They share no kids together.

"It's very difficult to get someone who's incompetent to divorce," said Erika. "I have to ask the conservator. It's just not that easy. You guys, just stop with all that."

When she asked if she had "thought at all about seeing [Tom] in prison," the TV star simply responded, "No."

"It's too much. That's enough. Everything is... he's done. Like, it is what it is," added Erika.

Tom is currently serving a seven-year prison sentence for embezzlement.
