Marvel faces back-to-back trailer leaks?
While there is no confirmation from Marvel, however, copyright strikes by the studio indicate they might be legitimate
After the Avengers: Doomsday trailer allegedly leaked, Marvel Studios reportedly faced another challenge when a teaser for what appears to be Spider-Man: Brand New Day surfaced online.
As GamesRadar reports, it's not possible to verify whether it's an actual trailer; however, the studio's copyright strikes suggest the footage might be legitimate.
In the purported teaser, from Bruce Banner to the Punisher, including Sadie Sink's mystery character, they all made their entries.
Regardless of this, Marvel is said to release not one but four trailers for Avengers: Doomsday. Each week, a teaser will be released before James Cameron's Avatar: Fire & Ash in theatres.
In other news, Simu Liu, who is reprising his superhero role as Shang-Chi in the forthcoming Avengers film, explains why he was underdressed in a photo of the movie's cast.
"This was my first-time meeting Downey by the way," he tells on Jimmy Fallon's late-night show.
Admitting he was "embarrassed" over his casual dressing, Simu adds, "I was the only one of these people who had to work that day. So I showed up to work ready to shoot. I wasn’t trying to look pretty."
His lack of proper dressing, the actor explains, was due to his excitement to meet Robert Downey Jr. "I get a text in the middle of the day saying Downey wants to see me after work," he looks back, recalling, "No!, I’m wearing short-shorts and flip-flops."
But he had to arrive on short notice. "And they were like, No, Downey wants everyone to come in and say hi.'"
So, as a result, Sim says he did not slip into formal attire, which the Iron Man star also noticed, "I show up, and literally the first thing he said was like, 'Oh, look at you,' adding, 'Oh, that’s a choice!! and I was like 'God!'"
Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to drop on July 31, while Avengers: Doomsday will arrive on December 18.
