'The Pitt' season two trailer shows chaos returning to hospital
'The Pitt' has become one of the critically acclaimed shows of HBO Max
The Pitt, a critically acclaimed series on HBO Max, has returned with season two, as the trailer shows chaos returning to the hospital.
Noah Wyle, who plays Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, earlier shared that the forthcoming season will also show the impact of new changes in America's healthcare system.
“Before we even start to write, we’re conducting interviews with all sorts of people from every sector and vector of healthcare, and they tell us what they’re up against,” he notes.
The actor continues, "They tell us what they would love to see on TV, and they tell us what would really be counterproductive to what they’re trying to do if we put it on TV.”
Meanwhile, cast members returning to the show include Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), and Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi).
“’The Pitt’ is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh," its logline read.
Created by R. Scott Gemmill, The Pitt season two will return on the Fourth of July.
