Reba McEntire's special plans for pal Dolly Parton ahead of her wedding
Reba McEntire’s fears longtime friend Dolly Parton will 'raise merry hell' if she does not do THIS
It appears that Dolly Parton will have a special at best friend Reba McEntire’s wedding.
An insider told Radar Online that the 70-year-old American singer and actress, who is getting prepared to tie the knot with her fiancé, Rex Linn, is looking forward to booking pal Parton’s Dollywood theme park for her big day.
The source stated, "On the one hand it really appeals to her to go all out, but another part of her prefers the idea of an intimate affair, possibly in the backyard at her estate in Nashville, which will negate the need for all the bells and whistles.”
Even though McEntire has yet to make a final decision for the perfect wedding venue, "there's no way Reba could go ahead and tie the knot without Dolly being front and center – she'd raise merry hell otherwise," claimed the insider.
Parton and the Young Sheldon star consider each other sisters from another mother, as their friendship dates back almost 50 years and they do not celebrate their special moments without each other.
Also, McEntire plans her wedding over the holidays of 2025 because her and Linn’s "closest Southern friends are likely to be home so it makes perfect sense.”
The source revealed, "All the prenup paperwork can be handled fairly quickly, so that won't be an issue.”
"Rex isn't fussy. He's letting Reba get on with it and saying whatever she decides is just fine with him,” the insider concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that Reba McEntire and Rex Linn announced their engagement at the 2025 Emmys after five years of courtship.
