Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes plan big step for 'fresh start'
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have reportedly left the U.S.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are planning to renew their vows in England.
Gosling and Mendes have been filming the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter in London. The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, have been living there with their daughters, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, 9.
"They love the laid-back lifestyle in London," a source said, per Radar Online. "It's easy for them to move around unrecognized there."
The family is living in an exclusive area shared by other A-listers, including Harry Styles, Jude Law and Emma Thompson.
The couple, who met while filming The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, want to start a new chapter in England with a wedding.
"The wedding won't be grand or large-scale," shared another tipster.
"That's not their style. But they want to celebrate this new chapter of their lives as a couple. Having a second ceremony is a perfect way to do that," they added.
Eva is rumored to be playing Ryan’s on-screen wife in the upcoming Star Wars film. The actress has resumed her career after a hiatus to focus on parenting.
During a Today interview in 2014, she revealed that there was a "non-verbal agreement" between her and the Notebook star that she’d stay at home while he continued with his career.
"It was like a no-brainer," Mendes said at the time. "I'm so lucky, and I was like, if I can have this time with my children. And I still work, I just didn't act. Because acting takes you on locations; it takes you away."
