Taylor Swift's Eras Tour team left shocked over singer's gesture

Taylor Swift's crew was shocked when she handed out generous bonuses for their work on the Eras Tour.

In the second episode of her new docuseries The End of an Era, Taylor can be seen preparing for "bonus day" with the help of her mom Andrea.

The Karma hitmaker showed bags of handwritten letters for each member of the team, including dancers, production team members and more. The letters were sealed using hot wax.

Taylor then personally distributed the letters to her backup dancers and thanked them for their relentless efforts to bring the shows alive. She went on to ask one of the dancers, Kameron Saunders, to read the note aloud.

The dancers were visibly taken aback upon opening the letters, with some cheering and the others quietly taking the surprise in. In another clip, the dancers were seen all hugging in joy.

In anotherclip, a member of the production team was seen staggering due to shock over the huge bonus. He noted that he felt he’d pass out.

While the exact amount each member received isn’t revealed, the total that Taylor Swift spent on the bonuses during the Eras Tour is over $197 million. The recipients include truck drivers, lighting and sound techs, caterers, security, production staff and assistants, band members, choreographers, dancers, and more.
