Tobey Maguire's ex-wife reveals where they stand now years after divorce

Tobey Maguire's ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, broke the silence on their divorce.

During an appearance on the latest episode of The Inside Edit podcast, the 48-year-old jewelry designer said that "I actually think that my divorce has been one of my greatest teachers."

“It teaches you patience, and you’re also raising [kids together]. Our daughter was 10 or something, so those are some intense times that you need to stay connected," she added,  as per Us Weekly.

Revealing where their relationship stands now, Jennifer said that she and Tobey are still "close friends."

"I now have an ex-husband who is my best friend and would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him — anything in the world," she said. "[He is] the best dad, the best ex-husband, the best friend [and] the most generous."

For those unversed, Jennifer parted ways with the Spiderman actor in October 2016 after nine years of marriage. The former couple shares two kids - Ruby, 19, and Otis, 15.

After finalizing her divorce from the actor in 2020, Jennifer got engaged to Geoffrey Ogunlesi.

During the interview, she revealed that her new fiancé and Tobey "love each other so much."

“The cutest part is Tobey and my fiancé, Geoff, love each other so much. When the fires happened [in January], I thought we were going to be fine in Brentwood, so everyone was at my house,” explained Jennifer. "Tobey, at the time, was in West Hollywood because he’s redoing his house."

"I was, like, ‘I think we’re going to have to evacuate.’ And he’s, like, ‘You better get over here.’ So me, my fiancé, our two kids, Tobey, we all went into Tobey’s house [and] we are all sleeping there," she added.
