Joe Manganiello's fiancée Caitlin O'Connor opens up about their 'amazing chemistry'

Joe Manganiello fiancée, Caitlin O'Connor, has finally revealed when it struck her that he is the one.

The 36-year-old American actress and television host chatted with PEOPLE magazine just weeks after their engagement, where she opened up about her “amazing chemistry” with her fiancé, Manganiello.

O'Connor talked about their relationship and called to mind the exact moment she found out the 48-year-old American actor was the one for her.

She recalled, "We were holding hands in a crowd rushing by us and someone tried to cut through us and cause us to stop holding hands while the crowd rushed by.”

"Joe protected that hand-hold and wouldn’t let the person cross in between us, and that is when I knew he was the one!" the Pittsburgh star explained.

For those unaware, the Spider-Man star and O'Connor announced the news of their engagement in separate Instagram posts on Friday, October 17, 2025.

It is pertinent to mention that the newly engaged couple has relocated to Mount Lebanon, Pittsburgh, from Los Angeles. Even though they had been living in Los Angeles for a longtime, both stars come from Pittsburgh and are excited to return to their hometown.
