Miley Cyrus drops rare insight into her low-key romance with Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus is sharing some rare insights into her bond with fiance Maxx Morando.

In a recent chat with People during the promotion of the forthcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash, the Flowers hitmaker, who recently got engaged to Maxx, gushed over her relationship with her fiance.

"The detail that I can share is that for us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I've been astounded that I've actually been able to have and being able to kind of have more choice," she told the outlet when asked about her engagement.

Miley added, "I think it's also being older, being more protective of what I'm open to sharing."

The Disney alum, whose soundtrack features her song Dream as One, made a comparison between her relationship and Avatar, noting that it is "about love, family resilience and kind of reconnection and that stronger together idea."

"And so I thought it was kind of perfectly thematic and aligned with where I am in my life now," the Grammy winner explained.

The news of the couple's engagement first broke after Miley and Maxx walked down the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash on Monday, December 1, with the pop star flashing a diamond on her ring finger.
