Vin Diesel opens up about 'unforgettable' bond with Dwayne Johnson

Vin Diesel has opened up about his "unforgettable" bond with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson two years after squashing their public feud.

Taking to his Instagram handle on Tuesday, the 58-year-old actor praised his The Fast & The Furious costar's performance as an MMA fighter in The Smashing, reflecting on their acting journey.

 "And let me celebrate Dwayne," Vin began the lengthy note while sharing a snap of himself with Dwayne.

He further wrote, “People don’t understand what it takes to uphold a global perception every single day. I remember asking our global family who they’d love to see me work with, and a woman named Jan left a comment saying her dream was for me to collaborate with Dwayne.”

“What followed became one of the most dynamic pairings in cinema, two strong personalities who pushed each other and created something unforgettable,”  continued the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special actor. “When he stepped into Hobbs, he did it with full commitment and left an indelible mark on Universal’s character hall of fame."

Praising Dwayne’s performance in The Smashing, Vin wrote, “Mark Kerr is so deserving of this moment…and Dwayne really did it…He brought us back in time and shined doing it. Proud of you both.”

Dwayne and Vin's public feud began in 2016 when the Jumangi star confirmed that he had an issue with the F9 star, calling out his lack of professionalism.
