Barbra Streisand makes her priorities clear after shocking 'underpaid' remark
Barbra Streisand snubs 'Meet the Fockers' return after being underpaid
Barbra Streisand has reportedly made her priorities clear after being underpaid in Meet the Fockers franchise, according to Radar Online.
Recently, the Hollywood icon revealed that she was not getting enough pay as compared to her costars in Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010). "They'd have to pay me a lot of money because I didn't get paid what the other people got paid, and so I'm pissed off."
Barbra noted that it was during a time when women were underpaid as compared to men. "The head of Universal was Ron Meyer, and he actually sent me a bonus check. It was very sweet," the actress said.
While Barbra Streisand have declined the offer to return to the Meet the Fockers franchise, the outlet reported that the actress' costars Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller and producers are worried that the film will be a flop.
Yet, the source told the outlet, "Producers believe they can lasso her in for a last-minute cameo."
Adding, "Ben and Bob want it to happen if only for the chance to get Barbra on camera with their new co-star Ariana Grande."
"But Streisand has made it clear she has other priorities," they noted.
