Emily Blunt has revealed that children only care about one of her films out of her decade long career.
Her two children Hazel and Violet, who she shares with husband John Krasinski, only like Blunt’s 2006 Devil Wears Prada.
In an interview with E! News, Emily was asked which one of her projects does her children like.
She responded saying, “Yeah, [The Devil Wears Prada is] like the only one they care about.
The Fall Guy actress said that if her kids wouldn’t have been on the cusp of their tweenhood, she wouldn’t have believed their choice.
Blunt revealed that her children thought that her fictional character Emily in the American comedy drama the meanest person on earth.
“They think I’m the meanest person on earth, which I am in it”, said the actress.
At present, the 42-year-old is busy working on the upcoming sequel of the franchise with Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci.
Directed by David Frankel, the comedy movie revolves around an aspiring journalist Andy, played by Hathaway, who travels to New York City and starts working as an assistant to city’s biggest magazine editors, Miranda Priestly (Streep).
Emily also played the role of an assistant to Miranda in the film.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is reuniting all the old star cast with Frankel returning to direct. The film is set to release on May 1, 2026.
