Jonathan Bailey gets 'big compliment' from George Clooney on being Sexiest Man Alive

Jonathan Bailey, who has been labelled as 2025 PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive, received a precious compliment from George Clooney.

The Ocean’s 11 actor, who himself has been a two-time Sexiest Man Alive, believes that the Wicked star deserved the title as he worked really hard.

At one of the promotional interviews of Wicked, Interviewer from Access Hollywood spoke to Jonathan and read out to him a “direct quote” from Clooney.

The Wolfs actor said, “I think Jonathan ran a very good campaign and I feel he worked hard and I think he deserved it.”

While congratulating Bailey, the Jay Kelly actor expressed that the former must repeat it one more time.

“So, I want to congratulate Jonathan on his work and hope that maybe he can repeat because it think he seems like a repeater.”

Jonathan, who was completely in awe of receiving such a wonderful message from the legend, responded, “I mean I love the idea that there’s a campaign. I mean it’s such an honour and its brilliant and I think I’m just sort of proud that it went well.”

“George Clooney, thank you, what an inspiration you are. But I’m not sure that I have the stamina to repeat”, he stated.

Work wise, Jonthan has reunited with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in Jon M.Chu’s Wicked: For Good, which has released in theatres globally.
