Jelly Roll gets brutally honest review from daughter after removing beard
Country music star Jelly Roll has shaved off his beard for the first time in 10 years
Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, definitely doesn’t approve of her father’s new look.
The 40-year-old American rapper and singer shaved off his beard for the first time in a decade and only his wife Bunnie Xo was aware of his decision.
So when he debuted his clean-shaven face in front of his 17-year-old daughter, she was shocked.
In a YouTube video posted Thursday, November 20, Bailee Ann froze for a moment before reacting, "Stay over there," as her dad approached her.
Breaking into tears and laughter, she backed away from the country music star, saying, "Oh my god, I'm going to cry. I don't like this. You look like a turtle."
The teen did multiple double-takes, covered her eyes and began to shake with both tears and laughter.
As she continued giggling and wiping away tears, she doubled down, saying, "Oh, I don’t like this."
"I don’t know if I’m laughing or if this is making me sad," she noted.
At last she took a deep breath and put her hands on her hips to comprehend what she just saw. Bailee Ann tried to look at her father again only to burst into laughter and turn away once more.
Jelly Roll, who welcomed the now-teen in a previous romance, was already worried that he would resemble a Ninja Turtle before removing his beard.
"The last time my face was shaved, I was fresh out of jail," the Son of a Sinner hitmaker explained to his followers. "I got a feeling I’m going to look like a Ninja Turtle, but I’m going to shave my f--king face and go surprise my family."
And his daughter ended up confirming exactly what he was worried about.
