Dwayne Johnson has recently paid tribute to Robin Williams as he begins filming the finale of Jumanji movie.
The wrestler-turned-actor turns to Instagram and expresses his excitement as he shares a glimpse of his first day shoot on November 18.
In the clip, The Rock can be seen travelling in a golf cart as he reveals that this is his first day of shoot for Jumanji movie in Los Angeles.
“I have not shot a movie in LA but I feel so good to bring the production back home to the city with hardworking crew for a big, fun movie like Jumanji,” mentions the 53-year-old.
Dwayne, who is playing Dr Smolder Bravestone character in the upcoming movie, shows wearing a necklace having a dice in the final movie.
“It’s the dice from the original 1995 Jumanji and a way of paying homage, love and respect to the great Robin Williams,” states the Red Notice actor.
Captioning the post, Dwayne writes, “This one’s for you, Robin.”
Fans of The Rock shower their love to the actor in the comment section.
One says, “Such a dope tribute. I love the Jumanji movies.”
Another remarks, “This gave me chills. Jumanji lives on because of the heart you pour into it.”
“Robin Williams will never be forgotten,” adds some other user.
Interestingly, the movie, which is going to be directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Jake Kasdan, Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, comprises same cast from 2017 movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle including Kevin Hart, Jack Blue and Karen Gillan.
Meanwhile, the Jumanji 4 movie is slated to release in theatres in December 2026.
