Elon Musk’s X goes down globally, users hit by major outage
According to Down Detector, issues began shortly after 11:20 GMT, 06:41 a.m. ET
Elon Musk’s owned social media platform X has crashed, affecting the users across the world.
As reported by the Down Detector, around 11,500 users reported the issues with THE social media platform as of 06:41 a.m. ET/ 11.08am GMT, , specifically in the US.
In the UK, 3,800 complaints were reported related to X outage.
Among those who are affected by the outage, around 58 percent reported crashing issues with the X app.
According to 23 percent of users, they are facing problems in loading the website, while 10 percent reported the server connection problem.
At the same time, Cloudflare, a web infrastructure company, also reported some issues that impacted not only the other services but also Elon Musk’s X and video games, such as League of Legends.
On Down Detector, there were over 10,500 reports of service disruption as of 11:30 GMT.
As per Cloudflare confirmation, its team are “continuing to investigate” this issue.
However, the root cause of breaking down has not been revealed yet. It is allegedly reported that “scheduled maintenance in Santiago datacenter that was planned for this day, could be the reason behind this outage.
