Josh Brolin has dropped hints about taking a much-needed break from acting.

The 57-year-old old has had a busy year with back-to-back film releases like Weapons and The Running Man.

He is currently looking forward to another big release which is the new Knives Out sequel.

In an interview with Collider’s Perri Nemiroff, Brolin revealed that he is planning to take a much longer break after working on a new project named Whalefall with Austin Abrams.

During the chat, the Avengers: Infinity Wars star spoke about his experience of working with Austin and also shared plans about taking a break from work.

“Austin was great again, who's in Budapest right now with Zach Cregger. Yeah, I mean, there's a good moment right now”, Josh added.

Brolin thinks that it is time for him to "inhale real life" and step away from the limelight for good years.

He added, “We're having to promote, and we're promoting, and it's great and all that, and then I'm going to take a much longer break. And forget “deserved” or any of it. I just think it's good to kind of inhale real life and then have something to bring back to this."

The Deadpool actor isn’t planning on retiring, he is just going to take a long hiatus and will return back after sometime.

Work wise, Brolin will be featuring in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery alongside Daniel Craig, Mila Kunis and Jeremy Renner.
