Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett checked off a major friendship goal by working together in their upcoming movie, Is This Thing On?, but the actors were in for a risk.
Arnett, 55, directed and co-wrote the comedy-drama with Cooper, 50, and Mark Chappell, marking the first time they appear on screen together.
The Despicable Me star reflected on working with one of his best friends in a new interview, saying, "I think you could run the risk of having that thing of worrying that you might not see eye to eye — or that you would have those [difficult] moments,” as per People Magazine.
However, against all his fears, the pair ended up having an “all positive” experience on set. The Arrested Development actor noted that their close bond actually helped them work better together as they could “rely on each other and be really honest with each other."
Arnett told the outlet that although the Avengers star and his opinions usually aligned, even when they didn’t, they could come to an agreement after communicating their differences.
"I don't know why. We never end it badly on opposing sides," he gushed.
The duo’s film, Is This Thing On?, recently premiered at the New York Film Festival last month, and will be released on December 19 across theatres.
