Bradley Cooper’s ex Irina Shayk reveals life lessons she’s passing on to Lea

Irina Shayk is passing along her hard-earned lessons to her daughter Lea De Seine.

Admitting she "was not born confident," the supermodel is doing everything she can to spare her eight-year-old the struggles she went through to gain the valuable life lessons she’s now instilling.

"I just feel like there are so many beauty standards out there that of course I try to protect my daughter from," the Russian beauty said.

Another life lesson the protective mother hopes Lea follows is to definitely "stand up for who you are."

As the 39-year-old fashion icon learned over time that loving yourself is a "learning process," she wanted her baby girl to do the same.

"In this industry, there is so many things that now you can perfect and adjust, and I always say, you just have to love who you are," she continued. "I'm literally in the right time in my life. I'm a mother and I feel very comfortable in my own skin."

Despite her concerns, Bradley Cooper’s ex highlighted she is "very happy" to be a part of an industry that is now celebrating inclusivity and others from all walks of life. "It's very important and I really hope that it's not a trend," she added.

For the unversed, Shayk and Cooper, 50, began dating in 2015 and called it quits two years after Leah was born in 2017, and since then they've remained "friendly and get along" for their daughter.
