Robert Pattinson’s potential casting has been explained by Clayface writer Mike Flanagan.
As the Twilight actor continues to portray the comic book hero in The Batman movies, the question remains if he will be playing the titular character in James Gunn’s The Brave and The Bold, which is now active development.
Mike, in a recent interview, responded on the matter clarifying that he has no idea what the makers plan on doing.
"I have no idea what the plan is for any of that. I do know, though, that Matt Reeves is a creative powerhouse”, he added.
Flanagan, however, believes that Pattinson’s depiction of Batman was excellent when he made his debut as the character in 2022, reported ScreenRant.
Meanwhile, he further praised the vision of director Matt Reeves by saying, "I think the world in the Gotham that he built is wonderful. I think The Penguin works on the big screen and on television."
The Life of Chuck director added, "I do think there is a way to harmonize all of these elements into the DC Universe, which I think is what James is doing in his way."
The Batman Part II is set to kickstart its principal photography in 2026. Besides this, a standalone Clayface movie is also in the making with Tom Ryhs Harries playing the titular character.
