Now You See Me director Ruben Fleischer has spilled beans about the fourth installment of the popular franchise.
Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t has released on November 14.
Following the release of the third sequel, the director has updated about the new film which is already in development.
In an interview with Variety, when asked how did he found out that Lionsgate production was looking forward to another entry.
“When we were done shooting, they started to talk about it”, Fleischer added.
“I guess they’d seen a lot of the dailies and were feeling good about it and had the confidence to move forward.”
The 51-year-old opened that they are currently working on the script of the film and will hopefully kickstart production next year.
“We’re working on the script now, and hopefully that’ll be ready so we can make it next year”, added Ruben.
Meanwhile, he further addressed the absence of Mark Ruffalo in the film.
Ever since, the makers dropped the trailers and a featurette of the third sequel, fans were noticing Mark’s absence.
Fleischer added that Ruffalo has a cameo in the movie and the reason behind this less screen time is his "busy schedule".
