Princess Kate arrived in Staffordshire with grace in every step, leading the nation on 11th November 2025 as she honoured fallen heroes at the National Memorial Arboretum.
Marking her first appearance at the annual Armistice Day service, the Princess of Wales stood alongside veterans, serving personnel, and families in a moving act of remembrance.
At 11am, Kate joined the nation in observing the two minute silence before laying a wreath in tribute to those who have given their lives in service to the country.
The service at the Arboretum, regarded as the heart of national remembrance, united generations of the Armed Forces and their loved ones in solemn reflection.
During the ceremony, attendees listened to A Sonnet For Us All, a moving poem written by Arji Manuelpillai, Poet in Residence at the Arboretum capturing the enduring spirit of remembrance and unity.
Following the service, Kate is set to visit the Memorial Wall, where she will meet Squadron Leader Beth Long and her daughters, the family of the late Squadron Leader Mark Long whose name is the latest to be engraved after his tragic death in a Spitfire crash during Battle of Britain Memorial Flight duties in 2024.
The Princess will also meet with veterans and young students from military families, offering words of comfort and admiration as they reflect together on the unseen strength, sacrifice, and service that ripple far beyond the battlefield.
