Florence, who split from Zach in 2022 after three years of dating, reveals she’s in a new romantic relationship.
The Little Women actress says she has no regrets defending her past relationship as she bashed trolls for their negative remarks on her private life.
“It was an insane amount of abuse being hurled at my relationship just because there was an age gap,” states the 29-year-old during an appearance on latest episode of Louis Theroux podcast on November 10.
Florence points out that she “stood up for it, and I stood up for him and I stood up for me just being allowed to do whatever the I wanted to do, and that kind of did actually change a few people's minds”.
“I'll always defend people that I love, I will always stand up for them,” mentions the Oppenheimer actress.
Florence tells the podcast host, “With relationships and with romance in this world, it doesn't matter how much you speak on it or how little you speak on it, people don't care.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Black Widow actress notes that social media is major part of the problem because the online debate often resulted in “an insane amount of abuse being hurled at my relationship just because there was an age gap”.
“It got to the point where it was just really horrible to see someone that you are with receiving that,” she adds.
