David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown presented a united front at the Stranger Things premiere despite the recent reports about the tensions between them.
The sudden change in demeanour raised questions about the status of the alleged drama between the 22-year-old actress and Harbour, 50, but fans think it was a quick PR fix.
According to recent reports, however, the Enola Holmes star and Harbour appear to have resolved their conflict behind the cameras and are on good terms with each other.
Some social media users still argued that “It was not ‘resolved,’ it was fake news,” but others explained, “If it were a lie, he would have lawyer make a statement denying the allegations.”
One chimed in, “I knew it was true when the showrunners responded to a question about the complaint with the comment that, ‘nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.’”
Another deduced, “It was most probably a HR complaint, an internal one. Netflix’s HR probably carried out an investigation and they resolved it without any further issues. Not to discount its importance, but some people were thinking she went to court or something.”
The bullying complaint’s timing aligned with Harbour’s ex Lily Allen’s explosive album, West End Girl's, release, which is why the actor became a target for heightened backlash.
