Famous Youtuber MrBeast reacted to Saturday Night Live’s take on his Beast Games show.
The latest NBC comedy sketch poked fun at Disney’s classic cartoon, Beauty and the Beast and the famous Youtuber’s controversial game show with a modern twist.
In the sketch, featuring Ben Marshall and host Nikki Glaser, a Disney-style MrBeast says things like he’s keeping Belle’s dad locked in a dungeon for 30 days so she could win over $300,000, and that for every pound he loses, he’ll give a Tesla to a random stranger.
He also jokes about having a "beastly top half" and a smooth bottom half, and challenges Belle to live in a tiny smart car with two greased-up sumo wrestlers in order to marry him. Thanks to his billionaire status, Belle agrees
Despite not being asked for his consent, MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, gave a lighthearted response to the spoof, saying, "I didn’t know they were gonna talk about me, but the second it aired, my phone blew up haha."
"Thought it was funny," the game show host told Dexerto of his reaction.
Can’t say if it was just a coincidence or clever timing, the SNL sketch aired after Amazon’s Prime Video renewed MrBeast’s reality competition show for Seasons 2 and 3.
The show, inspired by his viral $456,000 Squid Game in Real Life video, offers a $5 million prize, notably one of the largest cash prizes in reality TV history.
