Vin Diesel has excited fans with his latest social media post.
Earlier today, the 58-year-old dropped a photo of himself dressed as his character of Dominic Toretto from the globally acclaimed franchise, Fast & Furious.
Following the confirmation of the second part of Fast X, fans were eagerly waiting to get an update on the production, but there was no official confirmation about it.
With Vin’s latest post, it looks like the production of the film is underway and the team has kickstarted filming the new sequel.
He mentioned in the caption, “Dom state of mind…”
The internet been flooding with reactions by fans, who can’t wait for the new installment to release as its predecessor ended on a cliffhanger with Dante Rhayes (played by Jason Momoa) killing Dom’s whole team to take his revenge.
One of the fans commented on the picture, “Eagerly awaiting Fast 10 Part 2! Love the tight knit made family. Hoping for a real Han and Gisele reunion also. And another tribute to Paul Walker though Brian.”
Meanwhile, another Fast & Furious fan wrote, “Focused and ready. Dom state of mind.”
Fast X: Part 2 has been dealing with multiple delays ever since it has been confirmed.
The finale of the Fast saga was initially meant to be released in 2025 prior to production delays due to the SAG-Aftra strikes.
In October, some reports claimed that the Universal Studios is considering to trim the budget of the upcoming movie down to $200 million, which might result in the absence of some major characters. But there is no update about the star cast yet.
The new Fast & Furious film will now be releasing in April 2027.
