Andrew Garfield breaks silence as Jacob Elordi takes over 'Frankenstein' job
Andrew Garfield expresses disappointment on not getting the role in 'Frankenstein'
Andrew Garfield has finally spoken about Jacob Elordi replacing him in Frankenstein.
The Spider-Man actor was initially being considered for the role of the monstrous creature, but due to some schedule issues, the part eventually went over to Elordi.
The Oscar nominated actor broken his silence on the matter and has expressed how he feels about Jacob playing the part.
In an interview, Andrew said, “I was just with Jacob Elordi in Marrakesh, who ended up playing the character of the creature. So, I was hearing about how amazing and how satisfying that was for him.”
The English and American actor said that he glad that Jacob has done the role. However, he also confessed that he is disappointed that he didn’t get to do it.
He told Deadline, “So I was disappointed. But meeting Jacob felt really serendipitous so that I could really see and hear that oh no, maybe he needed that experience more than me.”
“So that was cool to feel that he had a really kind of spectacular time on that job”, added Garfield.
Work wise, the We Live in Time actor was last seen in film After the Hunt alongside Julia Roberts.
Meanwhile, Elordi has been receiving immense love and appreciation for his portrayal as the creature in Frankenstein.
