Jennifer Lawrence revealed which franchise she thinks is better between The Hunger Games and Twilight.
The actress was put on the spot while being hooked up to a lie detector by Twilight star Robert Pattinson.
"You famously once auditioned for Twilight?" he asked her on Vanity Fair. Lawrence admitted that she read for the part of Bella Swan, which eventually went to Kristen Stewart.
Following this, Pattinson quickly asked two more questions: whether she wishes she'd booked the part, and if she thinks The Hunger Games is cooler than Twilight.
For both questions she answered with a resounding "No."
Her confession was confirmed by the lie detector as "truthful," prompting both stars to laugh.
The two actors, despite of already having work experience in renowned franchises like Lawrence as Mystique in X-Men: First Class and Pattinson as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, their roles in the The Hunger Games and Twilight, respectively, utterly transformed their careers.
The franchises impact on the culture had left a profound effect in their careers. So much so that to this day still, they have to deal with questions about the franchises that are now years behind them.
Earlier this month, Lawrence on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon revealed that she is very "nervous" about the film as many think it’s like a Katniss and Edward fanfic, when it’s not.
She said that "if you're expecting fanfic, you're going to be really disappointed. I'm just afraid it's going to come out and everybody's going to be mad at me."
Lawrence starred as Katniss Everdeen, a skilled archer from improvised District 12 who volunteers to take her sister’s place in a deadly televised competition run by oppressive Capitol.
Pattinson played Edward Cullen, a centuries-old vampire who lives in the town called, Forks, where he falls in love with human teenager Bella Swan. He then navigates the dangers of forbidden love and protects her from supernatural threats.
