Oscar-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet gets one step closer to EGOT status
Timothee Chalamet is turning his dreams into reality, one milestone at a time.
The two-time Oscar nominee just scored his first ever Grammy nomination in the category Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for the film A Complete Unknown.
Shortly after the announcement of his nomination on Friday, November 7, the Dune star took to his official social media account, sharing his two-word reaction.
He reshared Rolling Stone’s post on his Instagram Stories marking the accomplishment, writing, "Dream Big," under the image.
Notably, the Wonka actor will be competing for the coveted award with the soundtracks for F1 the Movie, KPop Demon Hunters, Sinners and Wicked.
This marks the latest major award nomination for the 29-year-old multifaceted artist for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
He was also nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars, BAFTA Awards, Critics Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards, which he won.

The American-French actor earned a nomination at the upcoming 2026 Grammys for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for the A Complete Unknown soundtrack.
The award in the category is presented to the artist or artists who perform a majority of the songs, or the producer/producers of a majority of the tracks.
Chalamet has performed on 17 out of the 23 tracks on the A Complete Unknown soundtrack, making him eligible.
