KPop Demon Hunters hit song Golden received another major seal of approval after receiving three Grammy nominations.

EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei, who brought life to viral song, shared their reactions when they learned about the nominations.

"We all screamed," Audrey Nuna told People magazine. EJAE said, "I got chills in my body."

While, Rei Ami admitted, "I blacked out."

Golden scored three nominations including, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Meanwhile the entire soundtrack for KPop Demon Hunters was nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media.

EJAE, who is one of the co-writers, said, "I'm just so proud to be Korean because growing up in America, too, I felt ashamed being Korean at one point."

She added, "I felt ostracised, and so I'm just happy to be a part of this incredible cultural phenomenon to be able to show off our country."

Audery Nuna echoed the sentiments, saying, "A Grammy nomination means so much to anyone who's in music and anyone who creates for a living. It's very a culminating moment."

"And I think that we're just not only thinking about this film, but our lives, the cultural context and the history, and our parents, and the struggles," she added.

She went on to talk about her experience of working with EJAE and Rei Ami, calling it a "honour of a lifetime" adding, "the sorority of it is really beautiful."

Meanwhile Rei Ami has already got her eyes set on "winning" since it "would be really cool."
