Blake Lively doubles down on allegations in Justin Baldoni legal battle
Blake Lively launches new attack against Justin Baldoni after latest update
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s case seems to be far from over, even after the dismissal of the actor’s countersuit.
The 37-year-old actress has now filed a legal motion for $161 M, which she claims is the damages she suffered because of the Jane the Virgin star’s alleged “smear campaign.”
The legal filing listed various damages to Lively’s projects, movies, and reputation, according to a Variety report.
The Gossip Girl alum also listed well-renowned celebrities who “are likely to have discoverable information” regarding the allegations against Baldoni. The list includes Taylor Swift, Emily Blunt, Scooter Braun, Hugh Jackman, Gigi Hadid, and Ryan Reynolds.
Although Baldoni has maintained his denial of the accusations, Lively’s original lawsuit is headed for trial in March 2026.
In response to Lively’s first filing of the lawsuit, Baldoni countersued her for defamation, but the case was dismissed in June.
The filmmaker was given a deadline to file the amended lawsuit, but he missed the hearing, which led to the dismissal.
Lively’s lawsuit accuses Baldoni of harassment, creating an uncomfortable environment on set, as well as orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
