Kim Kardashian is embracing the backlash surrounding her new Hulu drama All’s Fair by turning criticism into comedy.
On Thursday, the reality star and entrepreneur posted, deleted, and then reposted an Instagram carousel promoting the show.
“Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!? All’s Fair streaming now on @hulu and @disneyplus,” she wrote.
The repost included a collection of memes and fan comments celebrating the series’ success despite poor reviews.
One user joked, “Immediately pressed play,” after noting the show’s zero percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, while another added, “Critics realising their reviews of All’s Fair ended up making people watch and love the show.”
A third fan quipped, “Some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen in my life alongside the most predictable storylines and the most ridiculous styling. I’m obsessed I need 14 seasons.”
Critics have been far less amused. The Hollywood Reporter’s Angie Han called the series “brain dead,” writing, “Kardashian’s performance, stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, is exactly what the writing, also stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, merits.”
The legal drama, created by Ryan Murphy, Joe Baken, and Jon Robin Baitz, follows an all-female Los Angeles law firm specialising in high-profile divorces. The ensemble includes Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Teyana Taylor.
Despite its low critical scores, All’s Fair debuted at No. 1 on Hulu, with Kardashian and her co-stars thanking fans for turning controversy into viral success.
