Millie Bobby Brown on how she feels to film ‘Stranger Things’ final season
Hollywood actress shares her thoughts on filming the end of ‘Stranger Things’ series
Millie Bobby Brown has recently shared her real feelings while filming the final season of Stranger Things after her bullying claims against her costar David Harbour.
The Enola Holmes actress recalled joining the hit Netflix series playing the role of telekinetic girl role at age 10.
As the series reached its fifth and final season, Millie got emotional and said that saying goodbye felt “like a death of someone you love”.
“I was 10 when I started, so this is like a family to me; not just the cast, not just the crew, but the entity of Stranger Things,” said the 21-year-old as she appeared in the cover interview of the December issue of British Vogue.
Damsel actress pointed out that she and her young cast members, including Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink and Caleb McLaughlin, broke into tears while reading the script for its eighth and final episode, which will air on December 31.
“Twenty pages in, we just all huddled and cried for five minutes straight. We were all each other knew,” added Millie.
The comments came after The Mail on Sunday reported that the actress had filed a formal complaint against David, who plays her on-screen father figure, police chief Jim Hopper, before the filming for season five started.
The outlet further said that Netflix launched an internal investigation after receiving “pages and pages” of allegations relating to bullying and inappropriate behaviour.
Meanwhile, Netflix has declined to comment on this issue.
