Sebastian Stan has made an honest confession while talking about his time with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Stan became a Marvel star since the 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and he continues to be a part of the universe until today.
He made his debut in MCU by playing Bucky Barnes. He was last seen in the titular role in Thunderbolts 2025.
Sebastian made his debut with Law & Order in 2003. However, the character of Bucky gave him a major prominence.
In a recent interview, the Gossip Girl actor opened, "I have to try to offer something different than before. And I've never favoured one role over another.”
However, this is not the case with the Marvel movies. That is something he’ll do till the end of time.
While talking about his association with Marvel, Stan said on the Don Saldino's Stronger Podcast, "The Marvel stuff, I'll always, till the end of time, (say it) really helped me grow as a person and helped me grow as an actor.”
Not just that, he admits that, “it taught me relationships and Robert Downey (Jr.) and Scarlett (Johansson) and all these people I looked up to, and it was a business.”
For Sebastian, Marvel always gave him a sense of belonging. "It was a family and it gave me like a sense of belonging and it's always there for that, but it was only the step one for me."
The 43-year-old will be reprising his role as Bucky Barnes in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, slated to release on December 18, 2026.
