‘Hunger Games’ actress talks about her movie projects as a producer in a new interview
Jennifer Lawrence has recently made honest admission about not reading reviews of her movies.
The Hunger Games star, who turns producer for her new movie Die My Love, opens up about reading articles about her projects.
To which, Jennifer tells The Hollywood Reporter, “No, people on my team will make me aware of things when I need to be aware of them.”
“But it’s not like I’m going to read anything. I genuinely wouldn’t really know how to find it. I don’t know how to look on Twitter,” explains the No Hard Feelings actress.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer was suggested to use the Rotten Tomatoes website if she wanted to look at reactions to her movies.
Silver Linings Playbook actress points out that she tries “to just be aware of what I need to be aware of. But I don’t think the postmortem is going to actually help”.
When reporter asked how she feels to see herself onscreen as a producer, Jennifer replies, “I’m fine with it.”
“I do all the things that you would imagine: I notice my pores, I notice when I’m retaining water,” remarks the 35-year-old.
Jennifer mentions that she has been doing it long enough that she can be objective.
On the other hand, the Passengers actress explained that she often watches “playback” whenever she’s stuck on something or takes too many takes.
“That helps me,” adds Jennifer.
Meanwhile, Die My Love is slated to release in theatres on November 7.
