Elle fanning’s ‘magical’ reason why she still loves acting after 24 years
Elle Fanning shares how acting has helped her understand her personal life better
Elle Fanning looked back on her 24-year-long successful acting career.
The Maleficent star began her career when she was two years old and since than she been in 50 films and 21 TV titles. Meanwhile, 7 titles are currently in production.
In an interview with Vogue, the 27-year-old star shared what still keeps her wanting to act.
"I still get that magical mix of excitement and nerves on the first day of shooting," she said. "The rush that comes with creating characters and collaborating with new filmmakers is just as vibrant as it was when I was a child."
Speaking about the emotional and personal connection she feels with acting, The Great actress added, "I also feel like acting helps me express things I’m trying to understand in my personal life."
Fanning continued, "So with each new experience, I learn and grow as a person. To this day, I feel safest and most comfortable on a film set."
She is currently set to grace the silver screen as Thia, a WeyLand-Yutani synthetic who teams up with a young predator in Predator: Badlands. The film is slated for release on November 7.
Fanning is also starring in The Hunger Games: Sunrise of the Reaping as young Effie Trinket. The prequel to Hunger Games is expected to release in 2026.
