Justin Bieber opens up about online hate breaking his confidence
Justin Bieber makes confession about how negative comments break him
Justin Bieber admitted that being open on the internet makes him nervous because of the cruel things people say.
The 31-year-old singer has often shared his emotional side with fans, but said that hateful comments can still hurt him deeply.
During a recent Twitch session, Justin confessed that he struggles with online criticism.
“Going on Twitch is vulnerable as hell because people who just feel s****y about themselves project and then they write mean-a** things.
It’s already hard enough to put yourself out there, and then you gotta read all this,” the music icon continued.
The Sorry singer further explained that reading such comments makes him start doubting himself.
“They were like ‘Justin is not as exuberant. He will never be his exuberant self ever again. He’s lost his charisma.’ I was like, ‘What? I just played basketball last night, I’m just tired.’”
He added, “I start getting in my head, like ‘Ma, did I lose my charisma? My exuberance?’ It just sucks that you can have a million people say the nicest thing and then the one comment gets in there.”
Last month, the Swag singer made headlines again after responding to his mother Pattie Mallette’s heartfelt post praying for his “healing.”
He replied jokingly, “Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong.”
Despite the constant spotlight, Justin has continued to find comfort in his faith, sharing that he wouldn’t be able to get through the day without God’s love.
