Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard send love to friends amid backlash
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard focus on celebrations after refusing to apologise
Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell seem ready to forget the drama and move on after their anniversary post went viral on social media.
The 45-year-old actress and the podcast host, 50, shared a glimpse into their Halloween celebration with friends and family on Instagram.
The Nobody Wants This star shared a carousel of pictures of their thoughtful mashup costumes for the spooky holiday and listed the names in the caption alongside.
The Gossip Girl actress herself was dressed as "Carrie Bradshaw Shank Redemption" while Shepard appeared as "Ferrariana Grande."
The couple’s daughters, Delta, 10, and Lincoln, 12, were also included in the pictures and sported a denim outfit with an In-N-Out Burger hat, and a floral dress with a pirate hat, respectively.
Their friends also dressed up as hilarious combinations, and she appreciated them in the caption, writing, "i [heart emoji] my friends."
"Hon, nobody does it better," the Armchair Expert host commented on his wife’s post.
The Halloween post comes after Bell and Shepard came under criticism after she seemingly made a joke about domestic violence in the caption of her 12th anniversary post.
Bell limited the comments on her account when the comments section filled up with people slamming her for the “tone-deaf” joke, but did not address the comments.
A report later detailed that the Good Place actress has decided not to apologise for something she did not mean.
