Rose debuts 'Number One Girl' on Blackpink’s Deadline Tour
Rose is currently on tour with her Blackpink members including Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa
BLACKPINK knows how to keep their fans hyped.
On Saturday, November 1, Rose made the Jakarta crowd feel special by debuting her solo single Number One Girl on the girl group’s Deadline Tour.
Although her performance at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium marked the first time the New Zealand-South Korean singer-songwriter performed her own track during the highly anticipated BLACKPINK reunion tour, it wasn’t her first live performance of the song.
She originally debuted Number One Girl live on November 29, 2024, during an episode of the KBS2 music program The Seasons: Lee Young-ji’s Rainbow.
The live version was later included as a bonus track on a limited digital edition of her album, Rosie, released on December 10, 2024.
Both fans in the arena and viewers online couldn't stop praising her for the stunning rendition, flooding social media with admiration.
One wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "rosé killing it live again, no backing track needed."
Another gushed, "Rosé sounds good, number one girl is one of best song from Rosie."
A third chimed in, saying, "omg stop, that's so cool. I've noticed her solo stage always hits different on tour, so I bet this was epic."
In addition to Number One Girl, the concert kicked off with thunderous cheers welcoming Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose, 28, to the stage.
Hit songs including DDU-DU DDU-DU, Pink Venom, and How You Like That immediately ignited the audience's spirit and despite being showered by rain, the downpour did not dampen the BLINKs' enthusiasm.
