David Harbour has been making headlines currently for reportedly bullying and harassing the Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown.
Earlier today, reports emerged online that Netflix has allegedly started an internal investigation over harassment allegations.
Harbour has been slapped with harassment charges by the show’s lead star Brown ahead of the finale of the popular series.
The streaming giant has invested approximately $400 million on the eight-episode series. However, they also claimed the shooting of the final season was hindered by these accusations.
The Enola Holmes star seemingly filed a harassment and bullying claim against Harbour before kickstarting the shoot of season 5.
However, the Mail reported that the “allegations did not include claims of sexual impropriety.”
So far, no official statement has surfaced from Millie or David or from their representatives over the matter.
The viral controversy has made social media users furious, who are saying that nothing should be believed until and unless the actors themselves release a statement.
“You should ignore it because the media allegations are never true. And wait until any report from Millie or David or Netflix comes”, said one social media user.
Another fan suggested to stop spreading this news until it gets reported by a reputable source.
“Maybe let’s not spread this until somewhere reputable reports it besides a trash rag?”
A third internet user, while calling it a smear campaign, wrote on Reddit, “We need a real source. The Daily Mail got this info from Lily Allen’s sister… David’s soon to be ex-wife.”
“There is no police report, no legal docs. Until that appears or Millie, David or Netflix makes a statement, we ignore it.”
