Brendon Fraser reflected on how winning an Oscar has changed his approach towards acting and made him more conscious about his roles.
The Mummy actor, who won an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in The Whale, talked about how the big win has affected his career.
During his appearance at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Fraser said, "The thing that has changed is now I have to work a little bit harder. I’ve got to feel like I still have a great deal to challenge me."
The actor, who is promoting his new film Rental Family, went on to explain the changing dynamics of how his work, saying, "I have to pay closer attention to finding material that’s innovative, new, interesting, unique, and diverse from whatever I did before so that I always feel like I’m learning something."
Fraser also talked about his new film saying that it made him rethink the concept of family and it is "gonna satisfy everyone’s need to feel like [they] belong somewhere in the world, even when they’re at their lowest."
