Colin Farrell has recently made about Matt Reeves’ The Batman II movie.

The Irish actor, who is set to reprise his role of The Penguin for the sequel, offered insight into the movie script.

“I had many thoughts to share with Matt about the script,” said the 49-year-old during an appearance on Happy Sad Confused podcast.

The Penguin actor pointed out that she “really does think it’s a masterwork. Kind of a contemporary genre masterwork”.

Gushing over Robert Pattinson, Colin mentioned, “It’s so brilliant, and Robert has got such a lovely journey to go on and take the audience through.”

Total Recall actor continued, “It’s dense, it’s really intelligent, it’s so deep and detailed.”

“I’m saying too much. I think he’s going to make an extraordinary movie,” added Colin.

In a separate interview, the actor explained how The Penguin leads right into The Batman Part II.

She told ComicBook, “It conveniently worked that the death at the end of The Batman and the devastation within Gotham opened up a power vacuum that then Oz could try and capitalise on.”

“That was perfect for the parallel eight hours that we had,” he continued.

Then, Colin added, “The Batman Part II will pick up, whatever, a few weeks after the show ended. But I kind of bet against, but not by a wide mark.”

Meanwhile, The Batman Part II is set to release in theatres on October 1, 2027.
